Challenge

A popular trail was intersected by a major artery in a dense commercial area. Joggers, cyclists, and hikers had to cross several lanes of high-speed traffic to continue their journey.

Solution
The “Stream” is an ADA compliant pedestrian bridge featuring undulating glass panels emblematic of the many flowing waterways throughout the county and along the trail. The bridge is an important milestone in the regional trail network, as well as a functional centerpiece for the community.
