Challenge
A postage stamp of severely overgrown land stood between two lanes of an extremely busy divided highway. The depression in the land, the inconvenient location and the long narrow width of the piece of property deemed the plot otherwise unusable.
Solution
Rather than re-grading the land, we took advantage of the depression. This allowed us to feature a 350-foot-long reflection pool with 6 programmable fountains. Spanning the width of the pool stands a custom brick and stone gateway-like structure, welcoming visitors and residents to the township. The structure is adorned with wrought iron fencing, architectural lighting and a cupola.
Elements
350-foot reflection pool, 6 fountain heads, architectural lighting, underwater pond lights, township identification, stone and brick façade chosen to blend with surrounding architecture.
